This cold weather can give some of us the winter blues, and East Tennessee Children's Hospital found the perfect way to cheer families up.
Jammin' in Jammies held its 16th annual event to help raise money for Children's Hospital. Families were invited to come out in their pajamas and spend the night making crafts, getting their hair and nails done, and join in on the all-night dance party.
All of the fun helps the hospital in a big way.
"We wait to get our net proceeds and then we ask our departments what their biggest needs are, and the money raised this year will go to the greatest needs of the hospital," said Alexis Niceley.
Last year, Children's Hospital raised more than $15,000. That money helped buy new iPads for the rehabilitation center.
If you missed all the fun Friday night, you can still jam in your jammies. Night two starts Saturday at 5 p.m.
