Tusculum College breaks ground on $6 million construction project

Tusculum College held a groundbreaking ceremony for a $6 million dollar construction project on its Greeneville campus Saturday.

The oldest college in Tennessee will build two residence halls, which will house around 150 students.

Representatives from the college and the US Department of Agriculture participated in Saturday's ceremony. According to a press release from the college, a direct loan from the USDA is funding this project.

Tusculum College said it expects the residence halls to be ready for student in August 2013.
