It's Valentines week!
Love and compassion are in the air.
Knoxville's Ronald McDonald House will feel that love Tuesday.
Second graders at Concord Christian School in Knoxville raised a whopping $1,061 for the organization and will take the money to RMH Tuesday.
Every grade at CCS has a missions emphasis. The second grade focuses on medical.
"The biggest thing we want them to get is when they go and they are giving this money to the Ronald McDonald House they are being the hands and feet of Jesus in the community. And that it's not hard to make a difference in the community, second grade teacher Aja Grimes said Monday.
The 7 and 8 year-olds raised the funds through a second annual bake and craft sale.
