Knoxville Police have issued an arrest warrant for the man wanted for killing a pregnant woman.
Brandon Scott Donaldson, 22, of Knoxville, will be charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
Investigators say he shot and killed Marcia Crider, 19, who was 13 weeks pregnant, on Tuesday. Crider and her mother were in a car outside a house on Porter Avenue when the shooting happened. Crider's mother drove away after the shooting and called 911.
Donaldson is 6 feet tall, weighs 180 pounds, has brown eyes and short black hair. He has a goatee and a tattoo on both his left and right forearms.
Donaldson should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Donaldson's whereabouts or who may come in contact with him is asked to call 911 immediately.
A pregnant 19-year-old Knoxville woman died Wednesday after being shot on Porter Avenue according to a Knoxville Police Department spokesperson.
Police say Marcia Crider of Knoxville was 13-weeks pregnant.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Police believe the shooting is domestic related.
Spokesperson Darrell DeBusk said in a press release investigators continue to search for the suspect.
Knoxville Police are investigating after a woman with a gunshot wound turned up in the parking lot of the AMVETS store on Holston Drive in East Knoxville on Wednesday.
Officials say the 19-year-old woman was shot during a domestic incident outside a house on Porter Avenue. She and her mother were sitting in a car when the younger woman was shot, and the victim's mother drove the victim several blocks and stopped at the AMVETS, where she called 911.
The woman was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. We do not have any word on her current condition.
Police are interviewing witnesses, and say they have a male person of interest they are looking for.
