A Knoxville woman has been charged with stealing toilet fixtures from area fast food restaurants.
According to Knoxville Police, Brook Lynn Black, 30, is charged with 5 counts of felony theft.
In January, a Burger King manager told 10News that four of their local restaurants had been targeted. The thieves were going into the restrooms and stealing parts from the toilets and even the floor drains.
A witness was able to give investigators enough information about the suspects' vehicle to track them down. On Monday, officers did a traffic stop on the vehicle and took Black and a man into custody for questioning.
He has not yet been charged.
Investigators believe the restaurants were targeted because of the easy access and easy exits.
Each of these burglaries cost Burger King at least $200, according to the manager.
