What could be more romantic than spending your evening with Wesley, Buttercup and André the Giant? Of course, I'm talking about "The Princess Bride" playing Thursday night at the Tennessee Theater. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids under 12.

On Saturday, treat your sweet to the romantic sounds of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Also enjoy a complimentary champagne toast in the theater lobby before the show. Tickets are $50. Doors open for both events at 7:00pm.

New Jersey jam band "Railroad Earth", is playing at the Bijou Thursday night. You and your Valentine can enjoy music off their new self-titled album for about $21.50.  Saturday night, join former "Drive-By Truckers" frontman, Patterson Hood as he performs excerpts off his latest solo album, "Heat Lightning Rumbles In The Distance". Admission is set at $25. Both shows starts at 8:00pm.

Winner of the T.V. show "Last Comic Standing" Josh Blue will be at Side Splitters. I got a chance to meet this guy once and he had me in tears, he's so funny! Tickets are $22.00 and can be purchased at www.sidesplitterscomedy.com.

The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular comes to Thompson Boiling Friday night. Join an all-star line up with featured headliner Toby Mac. Admission is $10.00 at the door. Show starts at 7:00pm.

Disney's Phineas and Ferb Live Tour will be at the Civic Auditorium on Friday and Saturday. Join your favorite platypus and the whole gang for this musical extravaganza. For tickets and showtimes, go to www.knoxvillecoliseum.com.

The Knoxville Ice Bears battle the Fayetteville Fireantz in the Coliseum Saturday. Its "Pink In The Rink" night as the Bears team up with the Lady Vols in their fight against breast cancer. Game starts at 7:30pm

Its always intense when Kentucky comes to town. The UT men will look to take advantage of the wounded Wildcats as they hit the court Saturday at 1:00pm. On Sunday, Vanderbilt versus UT equals in-state rivalry! There are only 3 home games left for the Lady Vols and this looks to be a good match up. You can catch the game at Thompson Boiling or from your couch on ESPN2. Tip off is set for 5:00pm.
