The watchful eyes over World's Fair Park in Downtown Knoxville have been temporarily removed.
The Knoxville Museum of Art took the eyes down Thursday while the museum gets a facelift. Workers will soon begin cleaning and caulking the building.
There's no timetable for when the eyes will re-appear, but the work could take several months.
The museum says once the eyes go back up, they could look a little different.
