A man who was convicted of aggravated sexual battery of a 10-year-old in Rhea County in 1998 has been arrested in Knox County on a slew of charges after a grand jury handed down an indictment.
Jeffrey Donald Keith, 43, faces five counts of perjury, three violations of the Sex Offender Registry, and one charge for sexual exploitation of a minor. He was taken into custody Thursday at his home in Powell.
Keith had been arrested in March 2012 after it was discovered he had been teaching gymnastics in the basement of his home and in the cafeteria of a Knox County school.
Keith is being held at the Knox County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility on a $100,000 bond.
