A woman suffered burned on her chest and leg in a house fire Sunday morning in South Knoxville.

Firefighters said, when they arrived, flames were shooting through a bedroom window at a home on Sam Houston Street.

Officials said the fire started near an oxygen-fed sleeping aid in the bedroom where the woman was sleeping. She received treatment for her burns at the scene.

The American Red Cross is assisting.

Investigators are still looking into the exact cause of that fire.
