Graduates of South Doyle High School from the classes of 1992 through '96 gathered Friday to remember classmates they've lost.
Over 100 graduates from those classes have died over the past few years. A candlelight vigil was organized because people wanted to show appreciation for their classmates.
Friends say it's important to keep memories of their classmates alive to make sure they're never forgotten.
"Everybody stands for something, and they all had a purpose and a meaning. A lot of them were dads, moms, daughters and sons. They mean something to everybody," said Betty Haun, an organizer of the event.
Two of those students, Patrick Fitzgibbon and Marcus Alford, died while serving in the military.
