Dozens of runners laced up their running shoes for the first "Color Bash 5k" in West Knoxville Saturday morning.
Runners raced through Lakeshore Greenway as color bombers threw handfuls of dye at them to raise money for a great cause. Some of the proceeds from Saturday's race will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.
Organizers said the Color Bash is a great way to encourage exercise, while having fun as well.
Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee distributes food to more than 168,000 kids, adults and serious each month.
