Kid Rock is apologizing to his East Tennessee fans, after he canceled his Wednesday night concert in Knoxville because of illness.
The Detroit musician is on the road in support of his "Rebel Soul" CD.
On his website, Rock apologizes to fans for having to miss Wednesday night's gig at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. He says he's "done every shot and steroid to get better," but none of it worked.
He says he hopes to be better in time for Friday's show in Memphis.
The Kid Rock show scheduled for Wednesday night in Knoxville has been canceled because of illness.
According to AC Entertainment, people who bought tickets will get their money back.
Internet and phone orders will be automatically refunded to the purchasing credit card within 14 business days.
Refunds for tickets purchased at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum box office must be returned to the Coliseum Box Office and a refund will be given in the original form of payment to the original ticket purchaser.
Refunds for Knoxville Tickets outlet purchases must be mailed back to the Knoxville Tickets office at Thompson-Boling Arena, where a check will be mailed back to the customer within 2 weeks of receipt of tickets.

Kid Rock's opening act was Buckcherry, and they still played in town Wednesday night.
