Governor Bill Haslam says there's no way he'll be running for president in the next election.
He was recently profiled by the online political website Politico as a possible candidate for the GOP ticket in 2016.
When asked about a possible presidential run, he said, "There's zero, there's about 20 people who'd be better than me."
The Politico piece mentioned that Governor Haslam is building a strong conservative record and remaining out of the spotlight unlike Republican governors in other state.
Governor Haslam has said while he's not thinking about the White House, he's looking forward to running for re-election in Tennessee next year.
