Sheriff's deputies in Memphis arrested a woman they say was squatting in a foreclosed mansion valued at more than $3 million.
Officials arrested Tabitha Gentry Friday morning. They say she was living there, claiming the bank cannot own the home and that her indigenous ancestry grants her the deed.
SWAT team members cut through chains on the home's fence to access the mansion.
Deputies also took Gentry's 13-year-old daughter into custody, then released her to a family member.
