Alrighty let's get into it. Now I have probably missed a few things, but you'll only ready so much and this is also my first 10 About Town, just filling in for JJ.

Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind.. if you are not aware those are words from the beautiful and talented Barbra Streisand on Saturday the KSO News Sentinel Pops series presents the Streisand songbook featuring singer/songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway on Saturday, March 16, 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium.

If you are looking to sass it up for the prom or wedding maybe you'd like to pop over to the Knoxville Center mall Sunday for the You are Beautiful fashion show at 3pm . we are celebrating the diversity of beauty in our local girls in all shapes and sizes.

Don't have any daffodils in your yard yet? You're in luck, the East Tennessee Daffodil Society will present a daffodil show Saturday, from 1-4 p.m. at The First Methodist Church of Maryville, 804 Montvale Station Road, Maryville. the show is open to the public and is free.

If you would like to show our K-9 veterans some support head over to the War Dog memorial at the UT college of Veterinary Medicine. the German Shepard Dog Club of East Tennessee and the College of Veterinary Medicine will hold the observance at 1.

The Bijou Theatre is having its Jubilee Saturday night. entertainment includes some very talented Knoxville musicians as well as many distinctive auction items.

Fore Paws Golf Classic will tee off Saturday at 1. the Royal Oaks golf course will hopefully be animals free and raising money and awareness for your furry friends at the Blount County Humane Society www.blountcountyhumanesociety.org

The Cutthroat Shamrock will take over the market Square stage to get you in the St. Patrick's Day mood. Show starts at 6.
