A woman rushed out of her Knoxville home Saturday morning after flames sparked in a bedroom.
Around 8:40 a.m. fire crews responded to Sapphire Road to find a working fire.
KFD Captain D.J. Corcoran said the woman was cooking in the kitchen when she heard a popping sound from the bedroom.
Corcoran said the fire was contained to the kitchen and bedroom, but the flames caused significant damage.
No one was hurt, and the American Red Cross was at the scene helping the woman gather personal items.
Investigators are working to determine the cause.
