A Whitley County man was arrested in connection to a stabbing Saturday night.
Officers arrested Jerry Lawson, 44, around 11:30 Sunday morning after they said they found a small pocket-style knife believed to be the weapon used in the stabbing.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called out to Tidal Wave Road on a report of a stabbing. According to the 911 call, the victim had left. Officers said some took Adam Hart, 24, to a nearby hospital.
Lawson was charged with second-degree assault.
