SalsaKnox Dance Company presents a Salsa Congress this weekend. It's three days of dance workshops and Latin parties with professional instructors and performers in Knoxville.

Friday, March 22 at Cocoa Moon Nightclub
Saturday March 23 at the Knoxville Convention Center
Sunday, March 24 at Dance Dimensions Studio

"Salsa Congress" features people from different areas of the state, country, and even world coming together to practice and celebrate their common interest of Latin music and dance emphasizing salsa.

Similar to other professional congresses, it is an event filled with workshops, parties, and showcases by those deemed recognizable in the salsa community and regularly occupies an entire weekend.

It is a place to learn new skills, let your flavor shine, or simply get a great workout. Whatever the reason people decide to come, it can be said that a "salsa" congress truly is a place to meet new friends, express a common interest, and feel the rhythms of the Latin music.

Waldo Solano and Jacqueline Sellers of SalsaKnox Dance Company are hosting the event.
