After public outcry over the university's so-called "Sex Week", officials confirmed that UT is adjusting part of that plan.
The university says it will no longer use state tax or tuition dollars to fund Sex Week. The event carries a nearly $20,000 price day, and unlike before, the students organizing the events will now be responsible for covering the bulk of the cost.
Sex Week is set to begin April 7th. There will be nearly 30 events and four "sex experts" hosting panels teaching college students about everything from safe sex to bondage.
