Four people are now charged in the shooting deaths of a Cocke County couple.

The bodies of Cortney Amber Thompson, 20, and Terrence Logan Stewart, 21, were found under the river bridge off Newport Highway in March 2012.

This week, a grand jury indicted four people on first degree murder charges in connection with the deaths: Teresa Miller of Greene County, Tabitha Whitlock of Mosheim, James Douglas Black of White Pine, and Christopher Allen Jones of Newport.

Whitlock and Jones were the subject of a manhunt shortly after the murders.
