The Smoky Mountains Regional Robotics Competition is taking place at the Knoxville Convention Center this weekend. Practice rounds start Thursday with competition set to start at 8:30am Friday and Saturday. Admission is free.

Tonight at 7:00pm, Pellissippi State is having its Annual Jazz Band and Bluegrass Concert. The show will take place in the Clayton Performing Arts Center at the Hardin Valley Campus. The show is free, the parking is free. What more do you need?

Friday night at the Relix Theatre it's EG Kight and Roger Hurricane Wilson with a special "Blues For Food" performance benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank. Tickets are $21.50. Show starts at 7:00pm

The Knoxville Ice Bears are in the playoffs! Their first game is Friday night at 7:30pm against the Columbus Cottonmouths. Fans are encouraged to wear all white for this first round bout. If the Bears advance, they will also host a home game on Sunday. For more info, check out www.knoxvilleicebears.com.

It's the first home game of the season for the Nighthawks. Come down to the Coliseum Saturday night to support your favorite arena football team. Game starts at 7:00pm

On Friday, the Bijou hosts the WDVX World Class Bluegrass Show. Accomplished mandolin player Doyle Lawson along with his bluegrass gospel band, Quicksilver will perform at 8:00pm with tickets starting at $21.50. On Saturday, Oscar winning song writer Ryan Bingham will perform with HoneyHoney. That show also starts at 8:00pm with tickets set at $25.

The Band Perry is headed home to Greeneville Saturday night for a free concert to benefit "Outnumber Hunger". Be at N. Main Street for great music and a chance to meet the band. Show starts at 6:00pm

The Foghorn Stringband with Town Mountain will be playing at the Laurel Theater. The talented quintet out of Portland will hit the stage at 8:00pm. Admission is $16 for all ages.

Addyson's Autism Awareness Event and Fun Walk is set for Saturday at 2:00pm at Bean Station City Park. Don't miss this great chance to get outside and show your support.

It's Easter weekend and there are plenty of places to hunt for eggs and rub elbows with the Easter Bunny. One such place is the Little Ponderosa Zoo in Clinton. Bring the family out for their Easter Egg-stravaganza Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. They've got face painting, pony rides, bunnies and pictures with the Easter Bunny from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
