After being stuck in traffic and 30 minutes late to our interview with Levi Kreis I asked for the fog machine. Then, was promptly kicked out of Pellissippi State's Theater.
The stage manager and I started laughing and of course someone snorted and that's when the Tony award winning Levi decided to come out and just started laughing with us. Nothing like making a friend nice and quick.
Kreis is in town for the weekend to perform and well, eat some of Mom's home cooking. Kreis is from Oliver Springs and is very proud to be from East Tennessee. He travels around now for his tour and makes his home in Chicago, "which is closer than L.A."
The talents of this man are far reaching. From playing Johnny Lee Lewis in the Million Dollar Quartet to the theme music under many of the TV shows that you are familiar with.
His enthusiasm for his craft is catchy and his smile will melt your heart... or in my case make you fall down. No reporters were hurt in the filming of our shot.
There is a seat just for you at the Clayton Performing Arts Center at Pellissippi State
