The New Market Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 2nd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 30. Both an Easter parade and egg hunt are scheduled.
Easter parade floats will begin lining up at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Reed Bull Road and Old Andrew Johnson Highway.
The parade starts at 11:30 a.m., traveling along Old Andrew Johnson Highway to the New Market Fire Department.
Everyone is invited to participate in the parade with Easter floats, antique vehicles, horses, ATVs, marching bands, etc.
After the parade, an egg hunt for all ages is planned at the New Market Fire Department. There will be different age groups and a prize egg for each group.
The Easter bunny will be available for photos with your camera. There will also be a puppet show and refreshments available for sale.
