Dozens of children got an early visit from the Easter Bunny on Friday.
Knoxville College alumni hosted its fourth annual community Easter egg hunt on campus.
Rainy weather forced them to move the event indoors and hand out the eggs instead of hiding them, but that didn't stop the fun. Kids got to enjoy games, activities, and treats, and hang out with the Easter Bunny.
Organizers say it's a great opportunity to bring the community together.
"It's great to have it here at Knoxville College just to let people know they're still here and just to come out and show support,' said Britney Stuart.
Each child who attended the event received a free Easter basket.
