Mystery and Mayhem Dinner Theater is teaming up with the Volunteer Princess for "Murder At The Café Noir," a fun interactive dining experience. Catch the show Thursday nights for $59.95 per person. The boat sets sail at 7:00pm.

First round down! The Ice Bears are in the semi's. Game one is Thursday against the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The team is calling for a white-out so do your part and wear your white. Game starts at 7:30pm.

The Tennessee Theatre has the "Need To Breathe: Drive All Night Tour" with guest Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. Tickets are $32.50. Doors open at 7:30pm. Rhythm N' Blooms is a celebration of Tennessee's role in American roots music, a celebration that goes on all weekend starting Friday at Market Square. If you don't feel like running this weekend, you have several walking tours to choose from. The Knoxville Gunslingers Walking Tour will be Friday at 5:30pm. Explore the rich and sometime violent history of Knoxville. On Saturday it's a Civil War Walking Tour at 10:00am followed by the Literary Heritage tour at 4:00pm. The Knoxville Nighthawks take on Albany at the Coliseum. It's a fun and fairly inexpensive way to spend your Friday night with individual tickets as low as $10. Game starts at 7:00pm.

Louisiana singer/songwriter Marc Broussard will hit the stage with the band Courrier Friday night at the Bijou. Tickets are $21.50 for all ages. Show starts at 8:00pm.

Clayton Center presents Broadway's Next H!t Musical Saturday night. It's dinner theater at it's finest. The buffet begins at 6:30pm with fun music following at 8:00pm. Meet in the William Baxter Lee III grand foyer.

Good news you don't need no rock'n chair to attend the George Jones farewell tour Saturday night. The Coliseum already has plenty of seats. You will however need tickets which run around $45.50. Don't miss this last chance to see the possum. Show starts at 7:30pm.

If you're looking for a dose of old-time string music, head to the Laurel Theater Saturday night for the South Carolina Broadcasters. $12 to get in. Music starts at 8:00pm.

Another fun run on Saturday is the Covenant Kid's Run. Kids will start at the Clinch Avenue Bridge in groups according to age and finish at the 50 yard line of Neyland Stadium. Heats start at 6:00pm.

On Sunday it's time for the big race! The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon kicks off around 7:30 and also ends at Neyland Stadium. The finish line closes at 2:30pm so don't be like me and stop somewhere in the middle for lunch.

After the race and more importantly after a shower, finish off your weekend at the Bijou Theatre with Beethoven performed by the knoxville symphony orchestra's principle quartet. Show starts at 2:30pm.
