Legendary Vol Peyton Manning and his wife, Ashley, announced on Saturday they're donating $500,000 to the Pat Summitt Foundation.
The Pat Summitt Foundation said the current Denver Broncos quarterback's donation is the largest it has received since it was founded in November 2011.
The foundation is dedicated to fighting Alzheimer's disease through grant-making for research, care and support.
Manning serves on the foundation's advisory board as honorary co-chair alongside Pilot Corporation founder Jim Haslam II and WNBA All-Star Kara Lawson.
Pat Summitt was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in August 2011 when she was 58 years old.
