Thousands of racers got painted in multiple colors on Saturday morning for the "Color Me Rad 5k" in downtown Knoxville.
Runners sped through downtown Knoxville to raise money for East Tennessee Children's Hospital. It was part of a 90-city event to raise awareness and funds for local causes.
Even 10News Meteorologist Kirsten Horne couldn't escape the color bombs. We caught on video people splashing her with color at the event.
More than 200,000 people in 36 cities around the continent participated in "Color Me Rad" events last year. In East Tennessee last year, more than 5,500 people ran and raised $17,000 for the East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
