KPD still looking for suspect who shot strip club security guard with arrow

Police released the name of the security guard shot with an arrow at a strip club on Alcoa Highway early Sunday morning.

Authorities said someone shot James Bowling, 36, of Knoxville with an arrow at about 3:30 a.m. at the The Ball Gentleman's Club in South Knoxville. Lt. David Powell with the Knoxville Police Department said emergency crews treated Bowling for a minor injury on scene.

Officers said they haven't been able to track down the suspect.

A security guard at a local strip club was shot with an arrow early Sunday morning.

Lt. David Powell with the Knoxville Police Department said around 3:30 a.m., officers were called out to The Ball Gentleman's Club, on Alcoa Highway.

Powell said the security personnel member was treated on the scene for the minor injury.

Officers were not able to track down the suspect.

More information is expected following the investigation.
