15 year-old Jezreel Rubio's family is hoping to win a wheelchair van.

The parents of a 15 year-old Maryville teen hope you will help their son in an online contest.

The teen, Jezreel Rubio, suffers from mitochondrial disease which has damaged organs in his body.

Nancy and Jeffrey Rubio said their son has 10 doctors who monitor his condition on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, the Rubios do not own a handicap accessible van.

That's where you come in.

May is National Mobility Awareness Month.  The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association will give away three $40,000 wheelchair vans to families who win the most votes online.  The contest is being held on www.mobilityawarenessmonth.com through May 10.

You can vote for Jezreel every day until May 10 by clicking on this link. You will notice a blue box on the page that allows you to earn an additional vote daily (two votes total).

WBIR's Stoney Sharp interviews the Rubio family in the video above.
