We are looking at showers and thunderstorms to approach the area later this afternoon and into the evening hours. As we head into the rest of the day here is a breakdown of what you can expect:
pm-4pm - Look for isolated showers and storms to pop up across the area ahead of the cold front.
pm-5pm - Those who live along the plateau will begin to see the line of storms move through, with the potential of some of the storms being severe. The main threats will be stronger winds, larger hail and possibly an isolated tornado.
pm-6pm - The line of strong to severe storms will make its way into the western fringe of the valley.
pm-9pm - Showers and storms will continue to move through the area.
pm- We should start to see the rain activity diminish. Cooler air will move in back behind the system.
