4 cups peeled chopped Granny Smith apples
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour, divided
1 cup sugar
3 packages cinnamon instant oatmeal
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, meltedDirections:
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
In a bowl combine apples, cranberries and 2 tablespoons flour, toss to coat. Add sugar mixing well. Place fruit in a 9” x 13” casserole dish.
In a bowl, combine oatmeal, pecans, remaining ½ cup flour, brown sugar, and salt, add butter and stir well. Spread over fruit mixture. Bake 45 minutes. Makes 10-12 servings.
