TOMATO BASIL BISQUE

Ingredients:

2 – (10 ¾ ounce) cans tomato soup, undiluted
1 – 14 ½ ounce can diced tomatoes
2 ½ cups buttermilk
2 T. chopped fresh basil
¼ tsp. freshly ground pepper
Fresh basil leaves and Parmesan Cheese for topping


Directions:

Cook the first 5 ingredients in a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring often, 6 to 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Serve immediately with fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese.

Makes about 7 cups
