Apple Crisp

3-4 cups sliced tart apples
3/4 cup ginger ale
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional


Preheat oven to 350°. Spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with Pam. Spread sliced apples in the prepared pan. Pour ginger ale over the apples. In a medium bowl combine flour, sugars and spice. Cut in butter until mixture is coarse crumbs. Add oats and stir. Sprinkle mixture over the apples. Bake 45 minutes or until apples are tender and the top is golden.
