Strawberry Peach Mini Turnovers

Ingredients:

3 peaches, peeled and diced
4 large strawberries, mini diced
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Puff Pastry
Powdered sugar for dusting
Egg Wash
Raw sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a bowl combine peaches, strawberries, honey, brown sugar and nutmeg
Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 inch mini squares
Fill each with 1/2 tbsp. of fruit mixture
Egg wash inner edge and fold over corner
Press together to seal turnover with dough
Egg wash top and sprinkle with raw sugar
Lightly butter or spray a baking sheet
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes
When cooled, dust with powdered sugar and serve

Remaining fruit: heat in microwave for 1-2 mniutes, pulse in a food processor to make fruit compote spread/dip
