KPD id's Knoxville man shot while protecting his pot

According to a Knoxville Police Department spokesperson, 21-year-old Kaesan Delvin was shot in a struggle over marijuana in a north Knoxville home.

Delvin told police a man forced his way into a home on the 3800 block of Fairmont Boulevard to steal to victim's marijuana.  When he fought back he was shot.

Delvin was sent to UT Medical Center with two gunshot wounds.

Knoxville Police are investigating a shooting in the 3800 block of Fairmont Boulevard Tuesday morning.

One man was sent to an area hospital with two gunshot wounds.

The victim said a man forced his way into the home and tried to steal the victim's marijuana. When he fought back he was shot.

The victim is at UT Medical Center and his condition is unknown at this time.
