Parmesan Pasta

1 (16 ounce) package linguini, cooked all dente' according to the package directions
1 stick butter, melted
4-6 cloves freshly chopped garlic
8 ounces shredded parmesan cheese
May use Italian 6- cheese blend


In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium high heat. Add garlic and bring to boil. Watch carefully and cook one minute. Remove from heat and set aside. Prepare pasta. Pour butter over the pasta through a slotted spoon or strainer. Sprinkle generously with the cheese. Serve immediately. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
