Friends and family will gather Tuesday evening to remember the life of a Powell teen, who died after a motorcycle crash over the weekend.
Dreyson Stewart's family will receive friends until 7:00 pm at Rose Mortuary on Broadway. The funeral service will follow in the chapel.
The 19-year-old died Saturday after his motorcycle ran into a pick-up truck on east Emory Road in Halls.
Stewart's sister says he took safety very seriously, and it doesn't look like there was anything he could have done to prevent the accident.
She says he lived every day to the fullest.
"I do hope that people will continue to live their own lives to the fullest and live like Drey would want them to live. And he'd be so mad that I'm starting to cry right now, because that kid had the brightest smile and you never didn't see that smile." said Cari Kearney.
Stewart's sister says he lived with her family for about six months last year during his first semester in college, and he was adored by his two nephews.
