The Blount County man suspected of being involved in the soring of Tennessee Walking horses case may lose his stables.

Larry Wheelon had a verbal agreement with the owner of the property where he operated Larry Wheelon Stables.  But now, the owner has filed paperwork to evict Wheelon.

The court documents site "legal issues related to the care of animals."

Last week, authorities seized 19 horses from the Maryville barn and charged Wheelon with one county of felony animal cruelty.

The property owner is asking Wheelon for any unpaid rent and to cover any damage to the property.

A judge will hear this case in Blount County Sessions Court on may 8th.
