Update: Woman injured in West Knox Co. condo fire

Update 8:46 a.m.

A late night apartment fire sent one woman to the hospital and damaged several units.

Around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday firefighters were called out to Aragon Lane, near Wimbledon Drive.

One woman was taken to Parkwest Medical Center with minor injuries.

Three condos had to be evacuated.

Firefighters believe the fire started in the garage.

Several cars were destroyed and one condo suffered some damage.

A fire at a complex housing condominiums in West Knox County required a second alarm Wednesday night.

The blaze was reported just before 11:00 p.m. on Aragon Ln. near Gleason Dr.

No injuries were immediately reported, but several condos were evacuated, and more than a dozen firefighters were on the scene working to put out the blaze.

A 10News crew was on the scene, and the morning team will have the latest information on 10News Today and Mornings with Fox 43.
