Thursday night on Market Square, it's the kickoff of WDVX's weekly concert series featuring Robinella. Head down early to grab some dinner then hit the square for great music at 7:00pm. The best part, the concert is free.

Speaking of Market Square, the Farmer's Market is back. Take advantage of East Tennessee's wealth of local foods and artisans, Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Most vendors don't take cards so be sure to bring cash.

Erik Griffin is most recently known for his role on Comedy Central's "Workaholics". Through Saturday, you can catch his act at Side Splitters Comedy Club. General admission starts at $10. For showtimes check out www.sidesplitterscomedy.com

The New Familiars will be playing with Kelsey's Woods and Guy Marshal at the Relix Theatre. It's folk-rock with a Bob Dylan feel to it. Show starts Friday at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 for 18 and up.

Also Friday night, the Square Room has The Hotshot Freight Train featuring The Knockdown Dragouts with Keep Quiet. Doors open to this show at 7:00pm. Admission is free.

Head to the Shed in Maryville for two shows. Friday night, it's Drivin' and Cryin' with special guest Tim Lee 3. Tickets are $15. On Saturday, get a heavy dose of 70's rock with Midnight Special for the low cost of $10. Both shows start 8:00pm.

You've got options this weekend when it comes to festivals and food. First is the Polish Festival taking place on Market Square. Immerse yourself in Polish culture through music, art and culinary delights. Save room because next you want to head to the Episcopal School of Knoxville for the ROCKYTOP Hummin' & Strummin' BBQ COOK-OFF. Enjoy a full music line up, loads of activities and most importantly, lots of barbecue. Both events take place Friday and Saturday.

Celebrate the beauty of the Smokies at the "Townsend in the Smokies Spring Festival and Old Timers Day". Activities include live music, arts, crafts, clogging and so much more. You're invited to the Visitor Center from 9:00am to 10:00pm for this fun, free event.

Kickboxing is back Friday and Saturday night at 3706 Sevier Heights Rd. Catch a seat ring side as local fighters battle for glory. Tickets are $20 or $35 for both days. Doors open at 5:00pm.

There's racing, then there's drag racing. It's going to get loud in Maynardville at the Knoxville Dragstrip. $20 gets you access to some high-speed fun. Gates open at 11:00am.

Fanboys, head to the Holiday Inn off Cedar Bluff on Saturday for the Collectors Showcase Comics and Toys Show. They've got celebrities, the original Batmobile and you might even luck out and find that G.I. Joe your Mom sold in the yard sale when you were younger.

Saturday night, the Knoxville NightHawks are back at it against the Louisiana Swashbucklers. The Hawks need your help to grab another home win. Tickets start as low as $10. Kickoff is at 7:00pm

And on Sunday, the KSO Chamber Classics presents American Masters at the Bijou Theatre. Tickets start at $11. Show starts at 2:30pm. Have a safe Cinco De Mayo and a great weekend!
