Four people are behind bars in Greene County after a meth lab bust at a local motel.

Investigators got a tip about a possible meth lab at the Days Inn Motel in Greeneville on Thursday.  When Agents of the Drug Task Force along with officers from the Greeneville Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff's Department responded, they found several components of a methamphetamine lab along with a small amount of methamphetamine inside room #209.

Officers took four people into custody: Albert Boyd Manis, 41, of Knoxville; Jena Ann Wilson, 24 of Lenior City; Stacy Yvette Jett, 44 of Knoxville; and Ronnie Gene Murphy, 41, of Knoxville.

All four suspects were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and are scheduled to appear in Greene County Sessions Court on May 3 at 8:30am. Bond was set at $50,000.00 on all suspects.

The motel remains open.
