The Candoro Arts and Heritage Center hosted the annual festival of music and arts on Saturday.
This is the 13th year for the event, which features the best art of every medium East Tennessee offers, and puts it on display for the public. Vestival featured music, art, dancing and acrobatic performances.
Keeping in tradition with the festival, mothers got free bunch Saturday as part of the opening ceremonies.
For South Knoxville, it was an invitation for everyone to show off what happens on the other side of the Tennessee River. "We really feel like celebrating South Knoxville brings it to the attention of Knoxville and East Tennessee," Vestival Committee member Paige Travis said. "And we hope that folks go around that bridge and that they find us here."
Vestival gets its name because it's right in the Vestal neighborhood of South Knoxville.
