Dandridge hosted the 4th Annual Cruisin' and Groovin' car show on Saturday.
It put some of America's best classic and collectible cars on display all while car lovers listened to live music in downtown Dandridge.
City leaders said they know car lovers are their own special culture and have their own sense of community. So, they decided to bring that kind of culture to Dandridge. "There's a sense of community that car lovers have, and to bring it downtown to a small town atmosphere, it just blended itself really well," Main Street Executive Director Tina Murrow said.
The car show was also part of the city's push to promote itself as an historical community. Dandridge is Tennessee's second oldest town, behind only Dansborough.
