Peach Cobbler

2 Pie Shells
8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, melted
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 cups peeled, sliced peaches or 2 medium cans
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon,
¼ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare one pie shell in the pie plate. Combine all the filling ingredients in a mixing bowl. If using canned peaches, drain them first. Mix together, then add to prepared pie shell. Cut the other pie shell into strips and cover the pie, in lattice fashion. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
