(WBIR- Knox County) A north Knox County man is behind bars charged with second degree murder in the death of his brother according to the Knox County Sheriff's website.
Bobby Allen Johnson, 33-years-old, was found lying in a pool of blood on the front porch of a home by his fiance and another family member early Saturday morning.
According to the KSCO, deputies responded to the home on the 7200 block of Meadowbrook Circle around 2:40 a.m.
After an initial investigation, deputies discovered Johnson had been in a physical fight with his brother, 27-year-old Stephen Wayne Brooks. Brooks had left the home after the fight.
Johnson's fiance and the other family member found Johnson's body on the front porch.
Johnson was taken by ambulance to Tennova North. There he was pronounced dead.
Brooks returned to the home while deputies were there. Brooks was arrested without a struggle.
Brooks is charged with second degree murder. He's being held at the Knox County jail. His bond is set at $150,000.
