More than five dozen people are facing charges in West Tennessee after an underage drinking party thrown by a 19-year-old got out of hand.
It happened at a home in Jackson. Madison County deputies say they responded to a noise complaint early Sunday morning at the home of James and Sara Hardwick.
Investigators say the couple knew their 19-year-old son, Christopher Hardwick, was hosting a party that included underage drinking. Deputies cited the couple and eight other adults with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Sixty-three citations were given out altogether. Most of those cited for underage drinking were over the age of 18, but not yet 21. Eight were minors.
