I lb. Tilapia fillets (or other mild fish), cut in small bite size pieces
1 1/2 tbsp. Ground Black Pepper
3/4 tbsp. Ground Cumin
1 1/2 tbsp. Cilantro-Cumin Powder
2 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. minced Garlic
1 tsp. minced Ginger
1 tsp. Turmeric
1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
Thinly sliced cabbage/slaw
Mix well all marinate ingredients. Add fish. Marinate fish for an hour or up to overnight.
Heat oil in cast iron skillet or saute pan. Add fish and saute. Serve fish with tortillas. Garnish with diced onion, cilantro, chopped slaw and lemon.
