If you are looking for bluegrass on Friday, you'll find plenty at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center in Townsend. Jerry Butler and the BLU-Js are sure to bring a fun night of pick'n and grin'n. Admission is $5. Show starts at 7pm.
Also Friday night, you can catch Josh Ritter and the Royal City Band along with Milk Carton Kids at the Bijou Theatre. It's a mix of old and new as Ritter plays hits off his latest album. Tickets are $21.50. Show starts at 8pm.
The Tennessee Theatre's Summer Movie Magic is off to a great start. Friday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm catch a screening of Smokey and the Bandit. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for kids and seniors.
Knoxville Brewfest is back Saturday at the Southern Railway Terminal on Depot Avenue. From 4pm to 8pm enjoy countless brews from all over the region. Tickets are $40 in advance with all proceeds going to CureDuchenne.

Get your country fix Saturday night at the Shed in Maryville. Ray Wylie Hubbard headlines a night of music originating from the original outlaw movement in Texas from the late 1960's. $20 gets you in. Show starts at 8pm.

Alcoa is getting its July 4th celebrations started early with the 32nd edition of FreedomFest Saturday at the Alcoa Duck Pond. They've got fireworks, live music, the whole sha-bang! The entertainment begins at 6pm with fireworks set to go off at 9:40pm.
