A Greene County woman is behind bars, after being arrested for driving drunk with her four daughters in the car.
According to the offense report, Brandy Nicole Watts, 25, of Greeneville, was pulled over Saturday at the intersection of Old Knoxville Highway and Hal Henard Rd.
The officer says he had to get off the roadway to avoid being hit by Watts' car, which was traveling in the wrong lane. He conducted a field sobriety test, which Watts failed.
He said the four girls in the car, all under the age of 16, were scared and told him, "mommy almost hit a house and was falling asleep while driving."
Watts was charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, and four counts of reckless endangerment. She was also ticketed for having no insurance, no seat belt, and no child safety restraints.
The children were released to their grandparents.
