If you can't wait until football season, there's always the SEC Media Days that begin outside Birmingham next Tuesday.

And if you can't be there, we'll have coverage on WBIR and wbir.com.

We won't be the only ones there.  Around 1000 media members show up for the event, this year, including ESPN's College Football Live team.  ESPN plans half-hour broadcasts each day from the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover.

Here's more from the University of Tennessee and ESPN:

ESPN networks' preview of the 2013 college football season will begin with live coverage of SEC Media Days in Hoover, Ala., July 16-18, with the full College Football Live set on site for the first time. The half-hour show will be aired daily (3:30 p.m. ET) from The Hyatt Regency Birmingham - The Wynfrey Hotel, where more than a thousand media and SEC fans gather each year.

Additional content plans include interviews with head coaches and players from the DirecTV bus, live look-ins from SportsCenter and daily comprehensive specials on ESPNU that include all 14 head coaches' press conferences, additional coach and player interviews, and live reports and reaction on the day's news.

College Football Live host Joe Tessitore and ESPNU host Dari Nowkhah will lead various discussions from the ESPN set alongside analysts Brock Huard, Tom Luginbill, David Pollack, Matt Stinchcomb and Andre Ware with additional reporting from Cara Capuano, Brett McMurphy and Joe Schad. Also, SEC Network analyst and ESPN Audio host Paul Finebaum, a fixture in the SEC football landscape for the last two decades, will provide live reports at the event for the first time.
